How long do the batteries last?

Based on 10 activations a day you will get 3 months of use before you need to recharge. You can set the App to notify you when the battery reaches a certain level.

Can it work without WiFi?

The doorbell will need a strong connection with the internet at all times.

 Most customers connect the camera to a router within the property. Alternatively, if there is no internet you could always look to invest in a mobile data dongle.

What can I see my cameras on?

Once the doorbell is set up you will be able to see the live feed on multiple different devices. For example:

  2. Tablet PC through the Clan At Home App.
  3. PC/Laptop using our web-based browser on Google Chrome.

How does the camera record?

The doorbell will record when it detects movement or when the button is pressed.

 You can either store the footage onto an SD card or you can sign up to the cloud storage.

What if I want to connect the doorbell to mains power but do not have an existing doorbell?

You will need to connect the doorbell using a 12 – 24 volt AC transformer.

If motion detection is triggered can you use two way talk to the person at the door? (without the bell being pressed)

Yes of course. Once the doorbell is added to the Clan app you will have access to the live feed at all times. Simply go into the App and you will be able to see what is going on when ever.

Can I have more than one doorbell connected to the App?

Yes of course. The Clan app allows you to connect multiple devices from the video doorbell to security cameras and even an alarm system. All the devices we have to offer on our website can all be accessed using the Clan App.

Can I see my cameras abroad?

Once the cameras are connected to the App you will have full access to them from anywhere in the world as long as you are connected to the internet.
