How do I talk to my pet when I’m not at home?

Once you have connected the Olivia Camera to your Clan at Home App. The App allow you to talk and listen to your pet like Walkie Talkie. Once you call their name, you can see them running towards the camera to chat with you. We would recommend to setup in every room cover all areas.

Can I know when my dog is barking if I’m away from the house?

Absolutely. We know that one of the main signs of distress in dogs is if they bark for prolonged periods of time. Our security cameras come with audio alerts that are displayed through the Clan app. This means you can be immediately alerted if your dog needs your attention to help calm them down and make them feel more relaxed after a noise has caused them to stress.

 

You can always keep on top of your dog’s activity with our pet security cameras, no matter where you are based!

What is the best way to calm your anxious pet ?

The best way is to call their name and make familiar sounds for a few mins periodically to make them feel that you are not too far away.

Where is best to position my pet security camera?

The answer to this question depends entirely on what you want to get out of having a pet camera in your home. If you are on the lookout for when and how a pet misbehaves when you are not around, then you might want to think about installing your pet security camera in the area you are most concerned about.

If you are just using the camera to generally check-up and play with your pet, then you could put it in an area that is easily accessible for your pet, somewhere close to ground level. This is so they can get up close to the camera to know exactly where the sound of your voice is coming from.

Is it easy setup this camera ?

Absolutely - Olivia can be setup in under 2 mins with your smartphone and Wifi router connectivity.

How is the camera powered?

Olivia will need to be plugged into power at all times. It is supplied with its own plug that is roughly 1.2/1.8 metres long. We do offer an extension cable which can be found here.

Where does the camera record to?

You can choose to set the camera to record locally to a Micro SD card OR subscribe for the optional Cloud Storage. Olivia accepts SD cards up to 128 GB which will store the footage for roughly 21 days continuously before it overwrites the oldest footage.

Can I share the recorded footage?

Yes, of course. In the App you have the ability to download any recorded footage and save it to your phone. From here you will be able to share it with others like the police.

Can I see my cameras while I am abroad?

You can always check on your pets even when you are outside the country travelling

Can it work without WiFi?

The camera will need a strong connection with the internet at all times. Most customers connect the camera to a router within the property. Alternatively, if there is no internet you could always look to invest in a mobile data dongle.

Can you install the cameras on a wall/ceiling? What happens with the image?

The cameras can be mounted on a wall or ceiling. Each camera is provided with the accessories required to help you install them.

 

If you have mounted the camera on the ceiling you will be able to flip the image in the App so it displays correctly

What can I see my cameras on?

Once the camera is set up you will be able to see the camera on multiple different devices. For example:

1. Smartphone through the Clan At Home App.
2. Tablet PC through the Clan At Home App.
3. PC/Laptop using our web based browser on Google Chrome.
4. Smart TV using Amazon Alexa/Firestick.
5. Smart TV using Google Home/Chromecast.
Please note you will need to have the camera connected to the Clan At Home app before you can view it on different devices.
